Hit by car

So and me buddy where skatting to downtown yesterday (fri 13th) and everthing was goin good until he nose manualed across the street and got nailed by a car doin 40 (ford tourus)the car didnt even see him to it hit him... so right now he is in the hospital luckly with no major damage exept for a bad cut on his ear and some bruises.

so i was wondering has anyone else been hit by a car and how has it effected there life

(ps his shoes did fly of 100ft down the street)

my friend was crossing the street one morning early going to school, it was rainy and dark, and he got hit by a honda civic doing bout 45, he was knocked unconcious, but thank god no major damage, he had 2 deep gashes in his head, but no broken bones, and he slipped some discs in his back. That was 2 years ago, i feel like he def values life more now, and more cautious when crossing the street. O and btw his shoes flew off, and 1 of them was never found

3 of us were playing basketball and the ball went into the road. So my 6'2 250lb friend runs out and gets it. Gets hit by a Jeep, breaks the transmission, and the car had to be towed away. haha, he was fine.

I was clipped by a cop in Charlevoix, Michigan. Luckily I didnt fall. Story goes, its 3 a.m. on a Monday morning. Main street is deserted so I drop in. As soon as I hit speed the cop pulls out around the corner and starts coming towards me in my lane. He leaves me about 2 feet of room to pass inbetween his car and a couple of parked cars. I thread the needle but end up clipping his mirror with my hand. Get ur friend back on the board and give him my props, but remind him that streets are dangerous, and cops try to pick fights.

Two of my friends have been hit by cars, one got a new Kona Stinky out of it (his old bike got wrecked, and he was pretty injured, the people bought him a new bike for not suing), and the other car just kept going.
The first one looked really bad, he got his leg run over and everything, and the second one was just a clipping.

a friend of mine got ran over by a hit and run driver and broke both his leggs... i dont think it has effected him much tho, but i didn`t know him before it happend and i think he was really really young.

I was riding my bike through an intersection and the car turned right and hit my front wheel and destroyed it.  I was perfectly fine.  A second earlier and I would have been fucked over good.  This is all that happened.  And the fork lost the sticker that had all the air pressure readings.

I crossed so much more carefully after that.  Scared the shit out of me.

this kid who i met in germany had, had his best friend hit and killed by a car. They had been biking and his friend(the kid who died) chain had broken. so they where biking home with the kid who i met pushing his friend. like he was peddling with his hand on the kid with the broken bikes back so that they didnt have to walk. but anyway they come to an intersection and the kid who is pushing stops, thinking his friend is ganna stop to but the one with the broken bike goes out into the street and get hits and killed. the worst part about the story is that the police tryed to blame the accident on him. that would suck having your best friend die and then having the law try to fuck you over cause of it.

My best friend and two other kids were walking downtown one afternoon and a drunk driver hit them from behind.  My friend got thrown twenty feet out of his shoes and the girl got drug under the car.  the other guy kind of stepped out of the way.  the two were unconscious till they got to the hospital.  it was pretty bad. 

my buddy is still taking the fucker to court.  so far he's paid for his and his sisters college.  but he hasn't been the same mentally since it.  forgets stuff and just acts a little different and his back's messed up.  Still shreds though.
