call me a skeptic maybe just because im blonde but it seems impossible that this could happen
i know my friend is blonde and blue eyed and neither of her parents have either of these traits (lol don't blame the mailman) but i just think somewhere along the way it'll never dissappear

If a allele for blond haired/red haired person is NOT passed down to the offspring, and the offspring receives two alleles for dominant brown/black hair, then there's a 50 percent chance that the allele for blond/red hair is never expressed in future generations. This process of a "carrier" for that allele having offspring with someone who is homozygous dominent for the dark haired trait is why the recessive trait will be destroyed over time.

I understand how ginger being a racessive gene may result in it eventually dying out, but surely for them to be extinct by 2060 all the current gingers would have to die by then and not have any ginger children. Are these 'scientists' planning some sort of worldwide ginger cull!? Because that's the only way I could see this happening.

OH holy fuck I wish i had a time machine, ther is this one ginger girl in my english class, and she the most uglyest creature ever, she has like very red greasey hair, fucking green eyes NO CHIN AT ALL, puffy eye lids or what ever and frckles up the ying yang, her nose  is huge and pointy, she also has bad ecne and shit. and she is a total bitch,

for all of the gingers to be extinct by 2060, all the ginger children right now would have to die before then without making any ginger babies. in 51 years between now and then, the gingers could have babies then the ginger babies could have more ginger babies. then what? thats right the gingers arent going anywhere soon.
