How is Sunday River lookin??

im going to be at sunday river over break for the first time, so i wont know my way around at all. so... how are the parks, how big are they, and any other places i should make sure that i hit up? ill be shreddin for like 4 days maybe 5 so i should have time to explore the mountain. but, if the temps keep up, maybe all ill be able to do is park haha which is ok with me

i posted this in another thread about sunday river but got no replys and hope that a new thread will be better

Its gotten much better in the past week or two, so you're in luck.

Depending on where you park or stay, the main place you should hit up is Rocking Chair park, which is on Barker peak. Just take the super quad from barker and make your way down. They have Dumonts new Empire rail which is pretty burly, and a few nice rail features up top.  Following the rail features there are two options: A) step down (for speed) into a 40ish foot step up, following that is a QP B) a 15-20 foot table to a 25ish table. Both with decent pop, but not incredible landings.

Also, the South Ridge Jib Park is usually pretty fun. Last weekend they took out a bunch of features for grooming reasons, but hopefully it gets fully set up again. The jib park is well.. a jib park. Various flat bars/boxes/butterpads. The features aren't huge, but theyre fun to hop around on. If you're looking for bigger features stay in RC.

If you want to do some actual decent skiing on groomers, head all the way east to Jordan Bowl, you can usually get some fun skiing in before noon.

Just keep in mind that SR is usually icey as fuck.

i was up there about like 2 weeks ago and i was a little disappointing with the barker park, don't get me wrong the cannon box is fun but it was hard to get enough speed for the last jump. 

other then that ec_overdose pretty much summed it up
