My boyfriend has a really nice digital camera, but it isn't very compact and we're always worried it will get damaged, so we don't take it to bars and stuff, it would be completely impractical. I have a decent (around $400.00) point-and-shoot digital, but the zoom is broken and I haven't taken it in yet to get it repaired.
I need a point-and-shoot digital camera, that takes nice photos, has a nice display screen, is compact, but is inexpensive enough that I'm not worried about taking it out/to bars etc.
I would like to get one on my lunch break today so that I have it for a trip we're taking this weekend.
I just need recommendations on digital cameras that fit this description, preferably $150.00 or less.

Oh, and although it might not be possible in that price range, I'd like to get one that has as little delay as possible. I hate when you go to take a picture and it takes 5 seconds before it actually takes it.
