im guessing you didnt tear your miniscus, they shouldnt be letting you go past 90 untill 6 weeks.
i tore my ACL and miniscus in December, we set to have surgery less than a month after, got mono, couldnt do the surgery so they had to put it off till march. Now im right about 4 weeks out and i feel like i could walk on it but im not gunna do something stupid. Quick question, i have slipped a few times and landed almost full weight on my miniscus, didnt twist or pull or anything like that and nothing hurt more then it already did, the doc said NO weight on it till the 6 months and i have been good about only touching my toes and stuff like that, but do you think there is any chance i fucked something up again? I think its just me being parinoid figured id ask.
and howmuch have you guys done out of therapy. I go 3 times a week for an hour but have been kinda slacking on the other stuff. I do quad sets constantly and just started to get straight leg raises about 100 times a day. Is this a good amount for right now from your experience? thanks
I'm 2 1/2 months out of ACL/meniscus surgery. I was told 4 weeks no full weight. 0-50-75% over the four weeks. About two weeks in I got out of a car and put my leg down like normal and put all my weight on my knee and I thought I heard a pop, I freaked out but it seems to be fine. I think I was paranoid. After that I put like no weight on to the point my PT was like you HAVE to. I was overally cautious. When he told me I could walk I didn't believe him. I can start running in a week, but I still don't believe it.
I think you're doing plenty, at least you're doing more than me haha. I start therapy again in a couple days since moving back to VT.
Hey did you have scar tissue problems? I did my acl, mcl, meniscus on august 30 and had to wait till feb 10 to get surgery cos I couldn't bend my knee properly or anything... it sucked so bad but at least all that time doing pre-hab has made the rehab so much easier.
