Innovative grabs in comps?

I feel like I have seen a damned lot of mute or high mute grabs with spins in comps these days. What happened to the sick ones. I wanna see some stefan Thomas tails or even a truck driver here and there. Just mix it up.

How do yall feel?

I've always thought that a cork 5 mute to mute is one of the coolest looking tricks out there.

i def think there are a lot more stylie grabs out there...a good high mute does look nice tho

Mute with right hand on left ski, change to left hand on right ski. Self explanatory.

people do mutes in slopestyle because it is by far the easiest grab to do

I think PK does a good job of it with his nose to his nose grab. Looks like it hurts!

mike mertion does the SICKEST (i think it was a) rodeo 7 with one of these grabs and it is the siickest thing ive seen

for sure, grabs really set skiing apart from other sports, i think to increase style in general grabs are needed.

comps are about making stuff look perfect to a judge eyes.

I think true tail or true nose grabs can sometimes make tricks look like shit while mute and not true ta make them look better. Dumonts True tails are a perfect example. They dont look like they are part of the trick in his 9 and cab 1080. His reverse mute on the other hand makes his cork 5 look REALLY REALLY good.
