Sup dudes?

I'm working on an independent project for college on the relation between the ski industry and freestyle skiing, specifically how the two influence and affect one another. I'm wondering is any one has any recommendations as far as specific people, businesses, or resorts that I should talk to. I would highly appreciate any hook ups that anyone has.

Also, I'm looking for skiers to interview and photograph. So if anyone would be down for that let me know.

get ahold of the SIA Intelligence Reports for the past ten years.  watch the growth of twin tips go from nothing to being the best selling type of ski.

An interesting side topic might be how important one's "image" is these days.  Sometimes I feel that out-weighs the actual sport itself in some people.  And this is perpetuated by the skiing "media" (ski movies, magazines, etc).  Also interesting how this image changes.  Not too long ago, flourescent onesies with a mohawk was rad, then you wanted to look as gangster as possible, now I'm seeing snowboarders with EXTREMELY tight pants, and I'm sure that will come over to skiing in a year or two.

Freestyle skiing and the subsequent popularized elements of neo-skiing have effected the ski industry as a whole.

however, parting from the whole "zomg twin tips!" cause, freestyle skiing has even started to shift the PSIA who is grinding their way to having an effective freestyle teaching program. Even some of the old guys up there are trying to get certified.
