Xbox live question

so i searchbared about this but everything i read sounded like people actually knew something about xbox live. i really have no fucking clue haha. i want to play a game on halo 3 against some other people. how do i do this ive been trying to make it work for like an hour!

yeah.. you have to pay for xbox live to have online games. its like 50 bucks a year, or you can get like a month, or 3 months or whatever

yeah you need an account, but you prolly have one already. your NAT might be set on strict though which won't allow you to play with other kids
