Hey, it would be fine to bend my Rossignol SAS2 140 Ti Binding's brakes from 100mm to 112mm right? What do you think? Should I do it or my shop? How would I do it myself? Please help me!

that small of an amount can usually be bent just by prying them out half a cm on each side. if you really want it to look profesional take it to a shop, otherwise spread them out a bit yourself. and if you fail, i think they sell 130mm brakes for the sas2 140's at evogear.

Shops usually won't do that for you, take an extra ski pole cut it bout half a foot from the handle, then use the hole and slide your brake in there and bend it out, it might break, but this method usually works.

Any other advice would be deeply appreciated.

Those brakes do not bend well, so use caution.
But just have them mount the bindings, and tweak them yourselves

Will 12 m be manageable? I am concerned that I will break them and really don't want that to happen...

and when u bend them, make sure to use a hairdryer before hand to heat them up...when metal heats up, your bindings will be slightly easier to bend, plus it'll have a smaller chance of breaking.

Bend them with a ski pole, in a vise. But they could break, you never know. I've done probably 6 sets of brakes over the years and never had a problem, but yesterday I was bending a pair, and snapped one. So you really never know.

i bent fks brakes from 80 to 125 and they're fine. your brakes are really bitchy to bend, the amount of bending will be totally fine but it will be hard to bend them, you'll need a vise

If you do that with FKS it will bend the tabs that hold the brakes in place inside, and when you are clipped in they will jiggle a ton. I know from personal experience. I don't advise that method on any binding

^^^this is true. But i've done this to my rossi pivot bindings (the older version of the SAS) and they've been fine. They jiggle a tiny bit but not enough to not retract all the way up or not come down. So i guess its the risk you take. Personally i think bending it at home is a lot easier than buying wide brakes or talking to a shop about it.
