Another NS Store thread..

no thats not how shipping works.. the more you buy the less you pay per item.. they could probably put the movie in the same bag the hoodie was in.

its no worse then it is on ebay for msot things...

you do know the kind of people that sell on ebay though right.. the ones that make their living doing that.

in other news, im impressed with how much better the store seems to be. Before, it would take a month for my order to process, i ordered a couple shirts, and it was processed in a couple days, way to go guys keep up the good work

its not like ns has the poser to lower shipping costs

that money doesnt go to them it goes to the shipping company

really, it costs them $6 to ship a dvd.. well then Idono how any am movies made money this year, since they gave free shipping and all..

why the fuck are you bitching , NS is mad legit and I really don't mind to give 6 $ to ship a dvd to support NS, I'm sure they don't make that much money out of the store and even if they did it's great since this site is pretty much the best website ever haha so just support them and you don't tell me that you can't pay for an extra 6$ shipping...c'mon

hey beleive me when I say this... Mousseau is doing everything possible to lower shipping prices so you dont have to pay too much. just an example, when shipping, we actualy put envelopes on a scale to respect a weight limit that minimises the costs of shipping. beleive me when I say none of the profit made from the postal service goes to NS, not only would that be cheap, but it would also qualify as illegal.

Actually, it costs about 6.50$ to ship a thicker sized DVD and 4$ for the thin ones. Then there is the envelope, the label, the time it takes to process and ship the order.

T-shirts are about the same depending on the sizes.

We are currently trying to implement a shipping module which will calculate exact shipping costs, but until then you'll have to deal with this. We actually LOSE money on shipping in the long-run, but try and find a good average to keep the customer happy. If you don't like the price, don't buy it it's pretty simple!

As for am companies, they don't have to buy the DVD from the distributor like we do.

For example, we buy the DVD for 10$, and get charged 5$ shipping per DVD. That's 15$ per DVD, and if you notice we were selling most DVD's at that price and are selling them at even lower now. We actually lost approximately 5$ per am movie we sold, which was bad business but we wanted to help support the smaller companies and keep our members happy!

Now, if an am company can get their DVD for 5$, they save 10$ right there which in turn they can pass on to you guys. Also, they don't care about making money but want to get their product out, while we need profit in order to reinvest in items for the store to keep the customers happy and coming back for more.

Just because other companies are offering cheaper shipping, it doesn't mean our shipping costs are "wrong"

We now have a much more streamlined system, and yes it might be a buck or two more shipping, but we offer a guaranteed 48-hour shipping deal, where that if your order is not shipped within 2 business days then we issue you a full refund and still send you your order. In my opinion this is a step in the right direction, and we plan to offer various shipping types (expedited, express, overnight, tracking numbers.) and to-the-penny shipping costs so that everyone is satisfied.

Also, think about all the contests I try to run. There are costs to put these on, and they all come out of the NS Store account! The sticker one is almost done and I have a sick video contest I think you guys will thoroughly enjoy...

I've sent plenty of things to canada in much bigger packages and it was less than that.. not saying your lying.. just my experiences..

Dude it's 6 dollars if you're not happy don't buy it and stop bitching because the shop is mad legit and the people working at NS are even more legit.
