SPARKNOTES AT END)So this weekend i weant on a 3 day ski trip to mont st anne and le massif ( which was super fun btw)
I come from a school that has a few mediocer(sp?) park boarders, a couple good ones, like 10 park skiers including me( none who are any good)
So im skiing around with the my boys from my condo( mostly boarders) and where hitting up the park and i do a couple of FS 270's off some rails a couple tail presses on some boxes( nothing impressive) and all my freinds are in aw for some reason, all day they are going on about how good i am and telling other people from our school. This whole time im kinda laughing to my self because im basically a beginner and i do not at all have an impressive bag of tricks. So the next day we go to Le Massif and in the lift line at the bottom of the hill my freinds(aspiring filmer) asks if i want some skiing footage so of course i say yes.
Well it turns out that a bunch of kids from my school were all behind us in the line and once word got out that we were filming and i was going to do a 270 ( OMFG!!!!1!!!) they all wanted to come watch( including 2 ladies ive had my eye on ;) so now i have like 15 kids following me to the park to watch.
We get to the park and im fucking nervous now because of everyone . i approach the first rail in my line and go for a 270 off and didint grip the rail so i failed, now im embarresed so i quickly go on to the next features and fail on most of them, but luckily everyone was encouragiing and waited for me to hike the park and try again.I pop on my skis and get ready to go again and eveyrone is cheering me on. My line was
270 off flat bar
30 ft DFD
360 tail 30ft jump
tail press DF bow with gap in middle
Down rail to switch
i stomp the whole thing and everyone is treating me like a pro skier now. LMAO.
Im not trying to claim ( obviously, its nothing good) but i just think its HILARIOUS how people think of things when they have never been exposed to it before, like i had two people say " if you practiced alot you could be pro" and a couple people were like " OMFG youve only been skiing for 2 years!!!!!!"
anyways again, i just want to see what you gusy think because i thinks is really funny, obviously i appreciate all the praise but its a bit over the top.
SPARK NOTES: I go on school ski trip, fill an easy line in park( see slightly above for line) with a bunch of kids from school watching, now everyone thinks im like pro.....LMAO
