Stowe is expensive, deal with it

Guess what guys, skiing is an expensive sport, fucking deal with it. I'm sick of every thread where someone is asking how the park are around burlington or some shit and there always some dick who points out for the millionth fucking time that stowe is expensive.

we get it. stowe is expensive. if you can't afford it go ski somewhere else and stop bitching. it's skiing not kickball, it costs money, and unless you start hiking the backcountry everyday you really have nothing to complain about (even then you gotta buy the equipment).

yeah but its not worth 89$ or whatever, i ski there because i have a pass and i love it. i would never ask my parents to come ski with me and drop over 170$ on lift tickets for one weekend day, plus gas. its not worth it.
plus, an "adult" is age 13-65. 13 year olds have to pay that much money to ski there (its probably their parents money) but still. plus about 5 years ago, skiing over 75 at loon was FREE. if my grandfather had skied at stowe he would be dropping 70 to ski there. sure the mountain is way better but still.

and 85 dollar lift ticket is really not worth anywhere on the east coast barring a few epic days. thats simply asking too much money for one days worth or skiing. at stowe, on a saturday, you will pay about 8-10 per run. tell me after each run if it was worth all that money

i don't know about you but I'm not made of money, skiing is my passion and i was raised on it.  its pretty unfortunate when something you love becomes so expensive that you have to contemplate not doing it anymore.  this year my skis, polls, and goggles have been stolen.  not only do i have to buy my lift tickets, but i also have to pay for all of my equipment.  if Stowe wants my money they have to lower their prices and the only way for me to voice my opinion is through a thread. that being said I've never complained about Stowe's prices in a thread and you need to chill out buddy.

89 bucks is fucking NUTS. and i'll tell you that to your face...

and also i can almost never find discounted lift tickets for stowe. which is too bad i hear they have a nice park setup.

stowes college pass is affordable. However im still probably not skiing at all there next year. My least favorite mountain on the east coast..
