Shin bang plus karma++

just put some booster straps on my tec agents and i crank the shit out of my straps and set the buckles fairly tight (more than half way)... my question is can you get shin bang if your boot is too tight?? by the way i mostly only ski park...

have your boots tight but not cutting off circulation. best way to avoid shin bang.

^agreed, and make sure the boot is the right size for you in general. if its too big you could be moving around and if its too small circulation may be an issue. if you continue to have problems get full tilts

Be sure that the boot fits snug and comfortably but not so tight that your feet are falling asleep. (thats bad) Sometimes, you'll get shin bang from bad crashes and sketchy landings though. If it is a serious problem for you, then I would do some research on FULL TILT boots, I hear that their design really protects you from shin bang, but I think they might lose a little energy transfer because of their softness/flex....

ok, not to thread jack but i under rotated a 3 and landed way backseat. i tweaked my leg hard and now my shin hurts, like not the bone but the musels around it. am i a pussy and this is just shinbang or is it something else?

i ve read on medical sites that you can get shin splints in two spots on the tops of your shins and the outside of your lower calfs so it might be like that.... i decided last weekend i not doing anymore 3s cuz i always land back seat i only throw switch threes you should try them they are much easier on the shins

I put medical tape around where the toungue of my boot meets my shin down to my ankle and I dont get shin bang, I got the idea on here try it shit works
