My dad lost his job but not because of the economy. He told me this whore said he spit on her so he went to jail for 2 days caught a staff infection and was in the hospital for a week or something. Now hes interviewing for a better job selling medical devices. I need to call him.
My friends dad lost his job as an electrician and now hes a bartender. I have cool stories

my father hasnt had a job since shortly after 9/11. who would have thought that a disabled veteran with numerous years on the job would get fired for a younger inexperienced guy who would get payed more

My dads business is doing pretty good considering people are getting desperate and are stealing more shit from auto parts stores and fun shit like that. More people to catch and interview then throw in jail. Good times.

Dad's closing his business down while he still has the option to. Shits been real tough, several big debtors defaulted on their accounts, two others went into receivership. Musta been so hard to make the call to close down your business without being forced to. Much respect Dad!
So many people are being laid off right now also, I work in the automotive industry at the moment, supplying filters to contractors etc. The transport and construction sectors are really feeling it
