Where to ski in Canada over Spring Break?

So some friends and I got the okay from the 'rents, to go skiing over spring break. We are looking into heading up to Canada (we live in Illinois and are driving), and are wondering what would be the closest/best place to ski in Canada. Do any places have lodging/lift deals. If Canada fails we will probably head to Jackson Hole, but where would you go if you could ski anywhere over Spring Break (for as cheap as possible, and the closer to Illinois the better) Thanks.

umm blue mountain is probably the closest decent mountain in canada to illinois. it is pure park, nothing else. if you want to drive further, then definitely go to quebec...tremblant for a good park, and good everything else, mont st anne for the same reason as tremblant, but with less lines, or for pure powder and vert, le massif.

'I heard that Richard Gere gerbils. That is, he inserts gerbils into a paper towel tube, which he then sticks up his butthole. I don't doubt this, because he asked me if i wanted to come over to his house and gerbil. I insisted that he come over to MY house, since the whole thing seemed weird. As a practical joke, i attached a bucket of water to the top of the door so that when he opened it, I beat him with a mannequin leg.'-Skydaddy

What's the drinking and gambling age in Canada. It would be cool to get some extra-curriculars involved in our break, but if it is 19 (which I seem to remember it is), then we might as well load up the car and head to Jackson Hole or Vail.

Meh even if they do check, a simple 'Hey Mr.' can take care of that. I'm just trying to decide if we should just go the 16 or so hour drive to Jackson Hole, or Vail... or if it's worth it to drive a little farther and not noly be in Canada but also be by bigger and better mountains. Would it be cheaper to go to Canada? I think the cheapest would be Jackson Hole. Vail would be insanely expensive, but we have a condo out there so if it's not booked we could stay there... but I'm looking for a new mountain and a change of scenery!
