k for example yesterday i learnt 2 sev pretzel switch up and after a few hit later i could hardly just do a normal 2 sev on to the rail this happens quite often with me i don't know it happens to you but if u got tips i would appreiate them thanks
this happens to everyone even pros. Most people cant put there finger on it, but it comes from being TIRED or HUNGRY or DEHYDRATED. Your brain starts to tell your body to shut er down and even the smallest tasks seem hard. Just take a brake get some water and respect your body
happens to me also. It's really frustrating when one day I have a rail trick on lock and then the next day I come back and Im just struggling. it's super frustrating. It happens when im tired and sometimes when im not. If it's because im tired I usually take a break but if its just a mind thing or something I usually try to go back to the basics. Like if im strugglin with a switch 270 on I usually hit the rail regular 90 on 90 off then I do a switch 90 on until im really comfortable then go back to the 270. It usually works for me.
This problem wont go away completely, simply because you get tired and thats that:P
nontheless, a good diet is important. What i usually do, is buy some peanuts and stuff like that, its easy to have in your pockets and you dont smash em. After 1,5 hour of skiing you should eat a handfull of nuts. This will give you energy. It might not work the first day because your body isnt used to the extra energy, but if you make it into a habit your body will use the energy you consume. So, buy some nuts and eat that in between your laps.
And don't eat fries and stuff like that, because its mostly fat and not nutritious. You should buy or bring something healthy, like a sandwich with cheese, ham, and vegstables that you like. Or maybe make a chicken salad at home and bring that=) It won't turn bad if you leave your backpack out in the snow:) its like a natural refrigirator=P.
You should also train cardio and strength. It will help=)
make sure youre getting enough oxygen too. nothing like a few deep breaths and taking your mind off the task for a second can get you back in the zone. what i like to do is look at a tree or some shit and notice the patterns on the leaves and try to think about it super hard and take a bunch of deep breaths, and then drop while im still thinking about that and then go for my trick. and put a smile on your face too that takes a bunch of stress and anger away. this worked for me in other sports like football and stuff so i thought i would bring it to my skiing and it worked for me so i hope it helps you too.
Mind you fat is quite good for long-term energy. Fat has it's ups and downs.
A salad won't keep you shredding all day.
BUT protein pwns for a pickup without a crash. Everyone go out and buy soy nuts. For 30g of nuts you get 15g of protein, unbeatable.
