Ok I know that not alot of people actually read through the Reviews page so I'm going to post this here. I'm also going to split it into sections because otherwise my throught train will be all over the place.
Turning/Maneuverability
The ski is 123mm under the foot, with a radius of 19m which if you can figure it out, is pretty damn small. the rocker and sidecut start/finish at the same point so the ski pivots and turns suprisingly fast for how big it is.
In term of swing weight the ski is pretty good! it is obviously heavier than a park ski but if I had to compare to my 181 Thugs, it is lighter and faster side to side.
Flex
I would classify the skis flex as soft-moderate soft. I will post pictures in a bit but say...15% stiffer than the hellbent, while softer than the JJ. basically i can still manual on snow and push the ski into a huge flex, but I'm offered some stability when landing.
Skiing
I live in Whistler and we have had one of the worst snow seasons in a long time this year. So unfortunatly I have not been able to test the ski in the conditions it was designed for: Deep pow.
I have skied some steeper terrain on them and they turn like a dime. One thing I've noticed is that while going fast, you don't get the same amount of tip chatter that I have seen in the EP Pro (firsthand) and the hellbent (on my friends)
I have skied it on groomers and park for 3 days straight and can say that I've had as much fun on it as I would have had on a park ski. granted I will not be doing 2-pretz-2 on anything on these skis but who wants to do that trick anyways when you can do a real 5-0 or nosepress. which you can. quite easily.
Other Notes
This ski pivots and reverts like a machine. because your standing on a smaller, central platform you can literally spin on your point of contact. think Hornbeck/Bradshaw reverts off of rails/jumps being easier than on a park ski.
Butters are sick but take some getting used to if you havent done themo n a bigger ski before.
The graphics are unbelievably bright and you will stand out! Split these babys up when you go in for lunch.
Overall
Unreal. If you're looking to add a more versatile but still unique rocker ski to your quiver (for park or pow) or live in Japan or somewhere that gets consistently burried with snow every year this si your ski. If you live out east and want a rocker ski but dont need 123 under foot check out the Blog, available in Fall 09. same deal just 110 under.
