The simple method would be to calculate you fashion index by finding fashion points and deducting fashion deductions and then you would have your comprehensive fashion index.

Calculate this for each coat you're thinking of buying and whichever one is highest should be your choice.

Honestly, make your own decisions, I'm one of the best looking people at my hill because I bought what I knew people wouldn't be wearing. If a certain look appeals to you then go with it, you'll be happier with that than anything else.

What I would personally do, not saying you should, is get something black to tone those blazingly bright pants down a little.
