Cliff jumping

How many of you cliff jump? here we have a couple cliffs we go to, one is like a 20 footer, and the other is a 40 footer with a long ass rope swing coming off of it. the best feeling in the world is to smoke a huge bowl, and then just as it's hitting you, swing out out the rope swing, lean back and just let go and lay out a huge fucking ass backflip. it feels like your in the air for about 30 secconds.

Me and my friends cliff jump, we have a few places we go to. THe highest is about 60 feet and the smallest is about 10 feet.

cliff jumping is the best...i always do it when ever there are cliffs to be jumped...its fun

in the sumemr of 5th grade my friend jumped off a 50 foot abandon overpass in the arburetum in seattle. it was insane, the water wasnt super deep cus you could see all these weeds that were like 4 feet above the surface and he siad he didnt hit the ground. it was soo high.

the cliff that I normally hit has either a 35 foot ledge or a 50 foot ledge.. ive only hit the 50 a few times!! but its hella fun!!

theres a 40 footer where we go sometimes, its sick..after awhile of hitting it you start to hurt but its fun

i loooove cliff/bridge jumping

tonnes of it here...ranging from just off the water to, well the biggest is 200ft...it's SUPPOSEDLY been done before....one guy walked away the other guy ended up in hospital. I like this 60 footer about an hour from my house...i gainered it last summer...it's totally sweet. My goal for this summer is to gainer off an 80 foot bridge...it's cool..it's the longest single span wooden bridge in canada...it would look deadly on video.

stoked for summer.

I do it a little. Ropeswings are the best. My biggest jump was 40 feet.

i like cliff jumpin every now and then. the most fun is doin ropeswings to screwy freefall at 15 feet. not entirely huge but it's not high enough to hurt if you land on your back or stomach

id love to do that rope swing in high society where he just lets go and freefalls for awhile before pulling the chute. thats pretty cool

Haha I used to misty 7 a nice 30-fter back in ID, I did one naked too, probably around 50 ft maybe (not the pic I uploaded, that one was just like 20 ft.). Hurt like the mother of all mothers! I think the boys are still aching....... ahhhh......

No but the cliff jumping in the Snake River canyon near Twin Falls was fucking insane... guys would climb like 100, 150 ft. up on the canyon wall... it was crazy. I think an average of like 2-3 people died every summer cliff jumping.

my friend has dropped an 80 or 90 before.. i didnt believe it til i saw the pictures, and OHMIGOD.. its so freaking insane. i think they did it down in utah

Its great.   I do it into the ocean, so sometimes you have to time the swells, but its super fun.  We should have a NS jump meet.

I used to a lot in pennsylvania, theres lots of places to jump like quarries and rivers and stuff.

me and my buddies hit the cliffs at my lakehouse all the time its awesome... ours are small but there are a bunch of them we got about four 15 footers, two 20 footers, and the biggest which is only like 35 feet but they are still soo much fun. there are more spots but the owners either kick us out or there is no way to get to the spot

This past summer my friends and I started doing "China Wall" at our local lake.  It's about 60 feet and needs a pretty good sprint to make it out.  The highest thing weve done is Rainbow Bridge which is only 65 or 70, but it is a two lane road with no sidewalks so that adds to it. 

All this plus a couple ropeswings and smaller spots scattered throughout the lake.  I compleetely agree with burnin a bowl and doing lay out backflips.  Our ropeswing tree has a couple perfect limbs for just free falling.  Makes me miss summer.  Then i remember oh shit its winter, we can ski.

Me and my friends have a boardwalk we jump off of in the summer, it goes from 10-30. Then there's a nice cliff spot off Chuckanut which is 40ish.

i clipped a rock off a 50 foot cliff and sliced my heel open really deep. couldnt walk for about 3 months and basicly killed my ski season. i stopped going in for check ups after a year and its been about a year and a half now and its still not completly healed and i have barely any feeling in it.

ah man thats the best feeling in the world!!!.. we have some sick places around where i live. If you watch the Man vs Wild episode on south dakota, when he jumps in off that cliff is one of the places me and my friends jump.. its supper sick!!!

Highest cliff I ever dropped was at Christina lake on a trip to Alberta. I went off it twice, the the first time I couldn't compare it to anything so I just jumped the second was when a boat was spotting me so I felt more comfortable, but later after I left my dad talking to his good friend who use to live there and he told us that it was a 86 foot cliff drop and people have died over the years on it. And then someone died a couple days later, so I'm never doing something that high again.
