the parks were good all last week, until sunday when it rained and turned the entire mountain into a giant hunk of ice. hope for some snow...

anyway, the park situation at Stratton is this:

The Power Park - you need a park pass to get in here, (they are free, but you need to watch a safety vid) it has two hips followed by a table with 3 lips, a 30 foot up rail, a rainbow box, a 30 foot flat rail, a big trap rail, and then the super pipe, followed by a 20 foot up to 20 foot down triangle rail and about a 6 foot high rainbow box.

Byrneside - basically, the jib park... it's got a steep 30 foot down flat rail, a big kinked box thats 10 feet flat to 30 feet down, the big nasty S-Rail, a short 2 foot high 10 foot long pussy round rail, a big hip, and then 2 small wall-jib things.

Meadows Terrain Garden - the beginner park, but it actually has some decent hits, smaller tables, etc. it's a good place to go work on shit before you take it to the power park. i just work on my switch take offs here. there's some small rails and stuff too. look out for little kids and joeys in this park.

stratton has sick parks. mt snow has kept the same layout for 5 years.

mount snow kept the same layout because it works. they add new stuff anyway. but don't go to mount snow now, because they got rained on bad.

if something isn't broken don't try to fix it. snows park has stayed that way because it kicks ass. they throw in different rails and change the size of some of the jumps also. the guys that regularly ride at snow can throw down sweeter than an other crew at any other mountain. john lippiat, pete moschak, chris johnson, matt iovanni, ryan vescovi, seth kunkel, mike thomas, & many more loyal snow riders all kill every aspect of the mountain and park. you don't believe me go check out SAS Films

liam downey, derek klick, ross powers, tricia beth, luke mitrani, tyler emond, and so many more.. all from stratton. those mt. snow guys are real good..but pure number of pros at stratton is alot higher.

liam and klick are both great skiers...the rest of your list is all snowboarders. all great also. luke patrani is amazing for his age. stratton has a great park also. i've skied a lot there. i heard its gotten a little weathered the past week. but that goes for most of the mountains around here.

Yeah i was there on sunday and the whole mountain was a huge sheet of ice.. one run and i was done... but the park looked like everything was really nicely laid out with some tech. stuff.. so once this week is gone and the snow is solid everything should be nice

my god stratton was cold today... like -7. it was rough. i just got back, and am currently thawing out. the pipe sucked, but the rest of the park was ok.

Yea last week the rain up here turned all the parks to crap. Your speed sucked monkey nuts. Its been snowing tho, so our parks are getting better. VT has been having a weird winter. we got 100 inches of snow at my home mtn. Sugarbush, in december
