Crazy idea/ just popped into my head

bingo. 

the athletes dont get paid by the movie companies, the sponsors pay the movie companies and promise their athletes to them and assume the athletes will kill it, and the athlete have a duty to represent the company that gives them cash. 

so if this theory were to play out.......disregarding all the problems you would see with an MSP segment where Ahmet and wallish get ditched by a heli in AK and lyndsey dyer and seth morrison getting stuck on ohio double kinks.......basically every company would need to sponsor every movie, example....Turbo main sponsors: spy, skullcandy, jiberish, dynastar, under armor....athletes: Wallish, rainville, ahmet, stefan thomas...each has more than one of those companies.  thats why you dont see rossignol skiers in turbo.

also, it has to do with the marketing of the sponsoring company...rainville is a great fit for level 1, his style and tricks work, his image works, he has the image spy and skullcandy are pursueing...try to picture andreas hatviet in a level 1 movie...his tricks dont match up, his image doesnt match up, and his sponsors dont work with that film company, he is a good fit for where he is movie company and sponsor wise.
