What if all the pro and am skiers' names were put in a box shaken up and all the film companies picked names of the athletes for their movies instead of the usual people filming with the same companies.

Theory A- it wouldnt work at all and the resulting films would be just not that epic, Theory B- The strange mix of filmers and athletes could produce an amazing amount of segment, the like the world has never seen before. Anyone got an opinion, idea, thought, words of wisdom, or just want to say Full Tilt! post away.

no offense but your idea would never work. You have to understand that skiiers, pro and am, all have different schedules and locations. If josh Berman draws J.P. Auclair who's currently skiing in japan, and Jon Olson whose in sweden, do you really think level 1 is gonna gear up and pay all the money to travel to those locations just for an athlete? It can easily be done but it isn't likely. The film industry is very tough. Directors have set athletes due to time and place, weather, and features. So if you think about how hard it is to make a ski film, your idea just doesnt suit it.

In the mountain bike film, "Seasons", they follow different riders and their progression throughout the four seasons. It would be sick to track skiers throughout the entire season and how they interact with the weather and different types of terrain. Sorry if a movie like this has already been made. I haven't seen many ski movies.
