Roller blades

Hey i love freestyle skiing but cant do it in the summer.... does anyone no if roller blading in the summer will help my skiing trick .... or should i just stick to skate boardng

it will deffinately help... it teaches u how to land completely centered and stay more balanced all around... it has also helped me on rails... grinds on skates are way harder than sliding shit on skis...

two summers ago i picked up a cheap pair and made a pvc rail. it was awesome. the next season i was way better at rails.

word. the reason fruitboots aren't accepted by others is because it looks wicked gay and its so much easier. trust me, skateboarding is more challenging and you will gain better balance. also you can skateboard anywhere, including flat ground and still be challenged and have a good time. skateboards coast about $100, while fruitboots are over $200 for a decent pair. so if you want to pay twice as much to look gay, then go ahead.

I rollerblade kind of, and i'd much rather do that then skateboard since it's more closely related to skis. Honestly i don't think it looks gay at all, there's just a lot of douchebags who still hate on rollerbladers even though they shouldn't give a shit. It's a lot like how there are still retarded ass snowboarders who hate on skiers being in the park just because...

it's a shame i already have your karma at 0. Fruitbooting isn't gay at all, all you need is a couple friends to skate with and no one bothers you, and it's super fun. And though doing basic grinds is easier on rollerblades than on a skateboard, there is way more possibilities on rollerblades than on a skateboard, so the skill level goes crazy high. Also, you can rollerblade on just about anything, and use one obstacle in way more ways than you would be able to with a skateboard. And though rollerblades are expensive than skateboards they last way longer. I've used mine heavily for a year and they're still good. When i had skateboarded i would have gone through two or three decks by now.

i used to skate, but then i started biking. i miss skating, but yeah its tough to make the leap from little fun homemade rails to handrails. you have to sack up a shit load, and once you get to that point, all you need is for your sole or side plate to miss but half an inch, and you can really fuck yourself up. but, its all part of the fun ;) ahah

Last spring i thought rollerblading was gay. then i tried my friends i instantly quit skateboarding and bought skates. i skated almost everyday last summer. it's alot of fun and it significantly improves your balence on skis

i was a hard core skater, and me and my friends would go through 2 decks a month during the summer, my friend gave me a pair of blades like 2 weeks ago and its actually quite fun, haaha they have four wheels on each blade so im trying to take out the middle 2

It's pretty undeniable that rollerblading helps skiing a lot. You need to have a lot more balance to land on skates. And if you can listen to beats and ignore the dumbshits while skating at a park or go with friends it's incredibly fun.

And to the haters, welcome to Newschoolers; you know, that website built and used by people passionate about sking, that sport that was just as unpopular as rollerblading less than 10 years ago. You know what the hardest part about being not only stupid but also a hypocrite is? Not realizing that everytime you spew hate more and more people see you for the eretard you really are.
