NS Help: Persuasive speech regarding drilling in ANWR

Hi friends. I'm preparing for a speech, and I need your help. I surveyed my COMM212 class, and the overwhelming majority is staunchly opposed to drilling in the ANWR. The assignment is to argue against the majority opinion, thus I need to present an argument for drilling.
I noticed several threads a while back (none now that oil prices have swan dived) about this issue, and I was hoping you guys could help me run down some solid sources, stats, etc. in building my case. Remember, I need stats and info that SUPPORT drilling in ANWR.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Not necessarily called for or helpful. Sick flaming though.
I know for a fact that there are quite a few folks around here that took a huge interest in the subject, and could probably help point me in the right direction better than a google search would. I'm particularly interested in any scientific journal articles, or other credible sources that might not be so easy to stumble upon. Clearly, I'm doing my own research as well.

It's not really flaming... He has a point. If you're looking for scientific journals, your should have access to a database of them through your school's library. Otherwise use Google Scholar. Asking NS will just get you other peoples opinion, which is kinda useless in an persuasive speech.
