i would say 160-170 if you ski as hard as you say, your little man, you dont want something you cant handle that would not be much fun at all

Don't tell him that. Those skis are seriously rockered and will ski short. If you really rip you'll get used to a big ski. just get strong.

They ski like a 130 because the rocker is so huge. They are pretty damn light too. I love mine. PM if you have any questions

I'm 5'3 and a buck 30 and love the 179's. They are light and easy to ski due to the 96cm (I think) running length between rocker kinks.

theyski really short but they are also fairly fat... and being as small as you are they might be pretty big and heavy for you..unless you rip have you tried bigger skis before?

i have never skied a ski bigger than a 176 ignition. i had a hard time with them but i was much smaller then and i didnt ski nearly nearly as hard i tried a 169 bent the other day though and those were pretty good though. a little unstable at speads though
All times are Eastern (-5)
