There at least once a week, I live 5 mins down the road toward 100.

Probably be there this wed. and I have off fridays now so I'm usually up there in the am on a friday.

I went there once this year and it blew me away. While 7 springs stuggled to have a feature longer than 5 feet or any jumps, bear creek was littered with decent sized jibs and at least 4 booters. Bear creek ftw

So like will I meet you if I attend the job fair???? Any openings in the park crew this year??? I'd love to work nights up there doing just about anything. I'm thinking I'll be at the job fair this year.

Just a little update for everyone.  Wednesday 12/23 is Bear Creek's 10th birthday so we're doing $10 lift tickets all day, free cake @ 2pm in the lodge and there will be a limited edition t-shirt available for $10.  Maybe they'll let me take the bear suit out to ride in too haha.

I'm actually going out in about 10 minutes to do some work on the park so hopefully we can have a decent park to offer as well.  Right now theres about 15 rails out, 4 or 5 jumps, plus whatever we get done tonight.  I'll try and get some pics of the set-up tomorrow morning when the guns go off and the sun comes up.

when i went last week, black bear park looked something like this:
- 15ish foot jump
- option of picnic table and tire jib
- option of barrel bonk and down rail
- "candy cane" giant round bar
- c-box (the old superman one)
- d-f-d rail
- option of flat down box, butter box, or another down rail
- option of three more down rails

cascade park:
- down rail
- step down box
- staircase
- 10ish foot jump

then you can either go left to hit a flat bar and the lower half of black bear or right for the tubing jumpline that was like 15-20 and 25ish foot jumps

i know a few things have changed since then, such as the big d-f-d box being put in, but everything was in decent shape. it was super packed so takeoffs and landings were getting rutted out fast, but the park crew was pretty on top of everything

i was there tuesday, and everything is getting much, much better. nice job tom & crew! everything was being maintained really well throughout the night. i'm usually up every tuesday, bright yellow coat & purple pants.

you're welcome to catch a ride with us tuesday night. we usually leave plymouth meeting around 530-6pm, ride for a few hours, then grab some food/drinks at the bar at bear afterward. the park has been pretty fun lately.
