How much softer?

What does the flex of the Alpha 1 compare to in regards to this years park skis?

And if anyone has actually fondled the Alpha 2's in person, same question.

I've heard that the Alpha ones are pretty stiff for a park ski.
There really meant for pros hence Jacob Wester giving them a super good review.

1. yes i have heard they are softer and lighter than the alpha 1

I would think the Alpha 2's would be stiffer. Either way that's what I'm rocking.

Alpha 1 has AR2 Core (Same as ARV) and World Cup Base (Same as PC)
Alpha 2 has AR1 Core (Same as AR6) and S7 Base (Same as AR6)

The 1's just sound like a lighter high performance ski over the 2's. Only $50 difference between the two.

the alpha 2 will not be stiffer than the alpha 1. the Alpha 1 is already way stiffer than any of the other park skis in the armada line up... like WAY stiffer. I have the alpha 1 right now and ill see the 2 next week so ill be able to give a side by side then.

According to the catalog, they are coming in a 182, as well as two sizes smaller, but I forget them offhand.
