so i have this feeling that my skis are about to literally self distruct and i am going to have to replace them, which isnt a problem, i have the $. my question is should i buy the new skis now so that i have them as soon as mine break, or should i wait untill they break? what would you guys do in this situation?

if you have the cash why wait? but other skis might come out but not likely so i say buy them now

A lot of skis are on sale now because it's after the holidays. Look around, you'll find some. I found my trouble makers for $315 instead of $500. wee.

Head Mad Trix 2003 $150 bucks. If you can find a better deal than that i'll eat my helmet. But first, a couple question on you soon-to-be-scrap skis. How long have you had them? any chance they're under warrenty?

oh, they are a 2000 model head air 170cm, there is no way that they are still under warrenty. that would be sweet though. i would get the mad trix, because i love head skis, only twins i have ever seriously ridden (i just got mojos) but i want somthing softer for the park, the mojos arnt fun for me because they are so stiff, and i imagine that the mad trix are just as stiff.

one more thought, if you buy the new ones you'll save the crappy skis for jibbing, or rock skis.

i'd check ebay, buy another pair like a week b4 u send ur dead skis in for warranty. so then u have a air to ski while the warrantying process takes forever because it always does.
