ok so today i was throwin some 5"s an decided to throw my right shoulder down an i went cork as fuck an landed on my tips an shit. I decided to go for the cork 7 i came off the jump threw my right hand down towards my left hip an i went cork as fuck got the 7 but i landed straight on my back. How the fucked do you do this. Mad Karma too

idk it kinda felt like i went forward when i threw it an spun the 7 but my buddies said it was mad cork

Set less cork. throwing your shoulder to the ground will get you cork, but it will not initiate the proper cork to get you back to your feet. Set your 7 and imediately reach for tail grab that should get you started off on the right foot (not literally though). ONce you master that then just imagine it as setting towards you grabbing you tail but don't actually reach for tail.

Yeah no problem Mango! It might not be dead on cause I'm trying to explain it through but it is basically the exact same, it just sucks I can't show you the set in person.. lol but what ever. Good Luck and I hope you stomp it!

If you set it right, the whole coming uncorked thing should take care of itself. I was taught/learned to think of it as driving a semi truck, turn the wheel whichever way you want to spin and then hug your knees. Add in whatever grab you feel like and the trick takes care of itself.

meh all these tips are pretty good but i find all you need to do to cork perfectly is carve and set your spin, dont even think about the cork part cuase it just happens



thats how i do it anyway..

its all in setting the trick. carve off and bring your right hand from right next to your head down to your left hip and youll be golden.

i learned corks yesterday on accident(carved a little too much off the lip of the jump) and for maybe the first 10 tries is didnt come all the way uncorked and just fell on my side/ass, but i eventually got them on my 3s and 5s, with one sketchy 7...after a few hits, i just got more and more comfortable spinning off axis, and it allowed me to spot my landings and stomp my corks clean...my advice is to just practice alot on something with a soft landing, and eventually you will stomp them cleanly and afterbang the shit out of your corks

I used to have the same problem but then instead of throwing myself into the cork what i tried is just looking at my tails in my spin. All uneed to do is initiate ur spin and try to watch ur tails with ur eyes and then it'll go perfectly like you don't even need to try and uncork then if you want to cork harder just do the same thing but set it slightly harder

Today I went for a cork 7 and felt like I got pretty corked but my friends said it didn't look corked.  I landed on my side.

So the next time I went for cork 7 and went really really corked and just kept spinning and never came out of the cork.  I went super far down the landing, and I think I ended up spinning a nine because I landed straight on my face.  My nose was bleeding a little bit, and now I have a black eye.

that's definitely bio or misty, especially if you threw your right hand towards your left hip, and dropped your right shoulder. i don't know what to tell you though, but i think my friend did that today and fucked himself up

as far as coming out of cork, i don't really know how to explain it, as it just sort of came naturally for me. what i can say is that when learning corks, it was a lot easier to throw bigger rotations (i did 7's) than it was to cork, say, a 5 or 3. so keep trying cork 7's, and try practicing in powder landings so that when you do fuck up, you don't fuck yourself up.
