omg the news is making such a big deal about it, making Phelps apologize and shit. mabye the world needs to relize that pot isnt as bad as every one thinks. a mabye just mabye someone can even be a world class athlete and still smoke once in a while, oh dear god say it aint so. leagleize it.

I completely agree.

but i think part of the issue isnt whether its bad for you or not, its that it is illegal and he's a world class athlete. they expect him to be a tiger woods the "perfect" representation of america which is now "tainted" to other countries as well as the youth. However retarted that may sound.

Plus they spend millions on this anti-weed campaigning to stop kids from smoking and 1,000 of those commericals don't have the effect Michael Phelps has on the youth. So it think theyre pretty frusterated with him in that sense as well.

Keep in mind, I love smoking, do it everyday, but I hate when people use this fact. It sounds really good at first, but when you think about it, it's just saying you can't overdose. Cigarette companies, using the same logic, could say no one's every died from a cigarette, meaning no one has ever actually died from taking a drag. Sure, they died from lung cancer, heart attacks, and whatnot, but not from actually smoking it. It's a legitimate fact, but  I feel it gets used out of context way to much by go-hung smokers. /rant

after re reading my post, granted, I'm not saying smoking [buds] is bad for you, to an extent, and yes I've heard all the news about how it fights cancer, but there is definitely some, SOME, damage done just by smoking in general, and I'm sure some deaths, while not directly related, we caused simply because of the act of smoking, and even though that smoking could've  been catnip or kush, it still would've done the same thing

i dont get why they test like everyone but snowboarders in the olympics. ive been told that there are no drug tests for snowboarders. which makes sense everyone of them would be out if they did test.
