Replying to Car troubles

so after i start my car let it warm up and drive it for about ten minutes it starts to smell like burning rubber really badly. so today after i got back from skiing i left it running and looked under the hood and there seems to be smoke coming out from right about where the transmission starts. is this probably just an oil leak or could it be something else?  its a '99 subaru forrester. i bought it used like a month ago from a subaru dealership. they did a full inspection on it and had fixed some oil leaks and changed the oil. basically im just asking it it could be something other than another oil leak.
