Hv30 focus wheel

as anyone with the canon hv30 knows, the focus wheel sucks. it is tiny, making it impossible for a smooth rack focus. has anyone tried moding it so its easier to use? it probs wouldnt be too hard, just a bigger wheel to turn the small wheel

check the hv20.com forums, they have a prototype model and i think a model for sale that makes it way easier/better focus

so i did my research and someone on hv20.com now builds hv30 focus wheels. they screw into the front of your camera and allow you to turn the wheel like you would on a standard prosumer camera or dslr. hers some pics from the website
