Is a pretzel when you put pressure on your toes with your heels coming up to stop rotation? And is a scissor when you pick your toes up with your heel down to lock onto the rail to start a switch up or out? Just kinda confused because some people don't know what they are talking about. (no offense) Yes I no Trck Tip Cult
A pretzel is when you spin 180 degrees or more (switch ups, 270s, etc) in one direction, then spin 180 degrees back the other direction (switch up opposite way of original switch up or spin on, or spinning out).
Scissoring is simple. Its just when you grip a rail and one ski is aimed down and the other is aimed up. This helps to grip the rail for switch ups, spins off, or grabbing the rail and stopping rotation when spinning on and such.
a pretzel is reverseing your rotation a scissor is just how your skis look when your going for a certain spin doesnt have to be a pretzel i scissor on backside 4s
