personally id prefer alta for the pow and backcountry. but i seem to get along better with boarders after a day of skiing, when out on the town and such probably because theres not many newschool skiers out where ive been, sooo its difficult to pick.

i believe its because all of altas land is leased to them by the national forest/park service whatever and their lease ends at a certain time that they can't really plan ahead for where as snowbird owns all of their land.

Alta is actually on national forest so they have to close after a certain date, snowbird owns their land so they can be open as long as they want.

Ive skied alta for a season and the bird for 3 days. Not gonna lie, i like snowbird more. Does not get tracked out HALF as fast as people say, and thousands more cliffs to shred.
