Armada or Salomon???

Hello, I am interested in getting a new pair of freestyle skis.  Currently I have a pair of 158 cm Salomon Thrusters.  However, these skis are wearing down and I think it is time for a new pair.  What company would be better Armada or Salomon?  I am interested in the Salomon Suspects with the STH 14 bindings but Armadas skis look really light and easy to spin with.

it's not brand dude, it's what you're looking to do and what you're looking for in a ski. you need to give a lot more information about yourself if you want help choosing a ski. tell your height, weight, ability, what terrain youre skiing etc. However, i can reccomend the armada ar6. it's bombproof and fun as hell.

Sorry for the lack of information.  I am 16 years old and I ski park, specifically slopestyle.  I am 5' 8'' and weigh 140 pounds.  Hope this helps.

2009 salomons suck! they break soo easily, i will recomend the 2008 thrusters, or the 2008 dumonts, both are nice solid skis

I would go with Armada, from my experience Salomon has been shit quality.

Yeah if you want one of those to brands get either last years salomons or any year ar6 or t hall. But don't limit yourself to just two brands, look at others like k2, moment, volkl, rossignol,line... the list goes on.

Normally I would say don't ever discount a certain brand.. but for salomon I will make a special example.

The edge armor on their park skis has given many people nothing but trouble. Personally I would avoid them like the plague.

As for good skis to look for, dont limit yourself to Armada. Choose the ski from the company which fits your style the best, not what other people tell you get based off of an internet site with limited information.

i think you should get some k2 extremes or at least look into them. i just got them a month ago and i love them. i think they are what your lookin for and you should at least check them out...i got them in 169 and have had no trouble just shit loads of fun and other than regualar topsheet chipping (like any other ski) there are no durability issues and they ski swell. hope it helps
