One Ski Quiver +K

I live in PNW and will be skiing all over the mountain park only if everything else is a no go or night skiing. I've been looking at 177 Salomon Lords, 180 Surface Watch Lifes, and 181 Liberty Hazmats. I like the steeps and trees and jumping everything but like I said before not too much park. I'm 6'1" 155 pounds

+1 for blends. and if you need something softer, i hear bacons are crazy fun and still tear up groomers and softer snow.

I can attest to the bacons being an awesome one ski quiver.

I just picked up some park skis, but that was more due to the deal I got rather than me really needing them.

If you want a more traditional ski go for the blends, if you want a different but crazy fun ski get the bacons. Be warned that they are reaaaaaaaally soft.

bacons and blends are some really awesome one ski quivers.  blends if you like to charge a little more and bacons if you want something a little more playful.

bacons are possibly the most versitile ski i have ever ridden. So much fun, and i could definately see them killing it in the park.


also, obsethed? a little bit of rocker will go a long way.

Yep, there's nothing the ARV can't do for me, but with all the snow you guys (should be) getting in the PNW, the Bacons would be a great choice.

Been said here before  - consider the armada ARV's - goes trhu everything and on anything. Else wait for next years JJ's since they are a rare find right now. More companies will sell early rise / rockered ski s next season. They float great and have a tight turn radius so great for the trees - but they need snow. ARV will handle hardpack well and pow great. The 185 cm may be a bit much for you and the 175cm may barely be enough...   choices  will be better next season see all the SIA stuff ?

I have a pair of Kung Fujas and the dimensions are nearly identical to the Hazmat, there nice and soft and playfull I have fun just messing around on them around the mountain, wide enough in the pow allthough I havnt had much snow to ski it in this year theyve floated nicely on the little bits I'v tried it on. They also carve switch pretty nicely. There a super fun ski and easy to manouver in the trees. There also similar to last years seth, I dono give them a look.

kung fujas, line blends, seth's......they get bigger in that order underfoot- 95, 100, and i think 110?. but ya ive heard awesome things from all skis. i would look into those...

How do Blends compare to Prophet 100s?
and do the orange bases on the Blends super bright like  last years Chronics do?

The Prophet 100s are made with two sheets of metal in them, I believe? So they're super stiff

Yeah thats kinda what I thought but I wasn't positive.

With 100mm waists can i still get good edge to edge if we have another January like this year where unless you ski park it's pretty much GS speed down groomers and the random icy mogul shit show?

I was considering blends earlier but wasn't sure if 100mm would be over kill.

The way you talk about park makes me think that a Prophet 90 would be perfect for you.  I am planning on giving up my surface LiveLife2 for a pair with Marker Griffon bindings.
The Prophet 90 was the last ski I loved after my old 1080s died, plus they were 10mm wider underfoot and still faster edge to edge!
