My fellow newschoolers-
If any of you follow the typical american food diet, I am sure this pertains to you. Today I read in the Washington Post, the most ballin publication in the DC area, that alarming amounts of mercury have been found in high fructose corn syrup. Being cheap and easy to produce, HFSC has become the leading sweetener in the food industry, and has developed a large lobby. This means that it holds alot of weight here in DC, allowing the industry to get away with things it probably shouldn't. This article shows some of the affected foods so check it out.

Personally, I'm gonna cut wayy down on HFCS, and probably take it out of my diet completely now, particularly due to this mercury biz, in addition to how bad for you it is anyway. Hope this has been helpful to some, so stay healthy yo.
