Holes on new Kung Fujas

Any idea why these have holes on them? Could it be possible that K2 and Marker are doing some sort of collab similar to the Line Reactor a few years back. Or do you think they just pulled a binding off for show?

If you find the "K2 09/10" thread it has a scan of the brochure that sorta explains it. I think its called the "Schizophrenic" (SP) and its marker duke/jester with inserts, they also have the ability to shift up and down. So you can go however many CM up on park days and CMs down for off-piste. Don't know if all the Kungfujas will have them or if its just optionals, thats all i know from reading the brochure anyways.

Yeah.  My shop had the 09/10 catalog because they're trying to convince me to buy K2 next year, I still want LINE though.  It's not quite like the Reactor though, it's a similar idea.  It's going to be a Jester/Duke type of binding that will be able to slide along the ski.  Put it towards the center for park, slide it to the rear for the pow day tomorrow.  That's the idea.  I think it will be a cool idea.  Too bad the Reactor didn;t work, that was brilliant.  Whether or not you can switch this binding from ski to ski, I don't know, but I have the feeling it is for one ski.  Not going to float my boat though.  It would be too heavy and I want Afterbangs and Bacons or Bents.  Depends on if LINE puts a rocker on the Bacon.

As far as weight is concerned, you will be surprised. The system feels the same weight as a Jester. Pretty cool stuff. All of the skis we will offer this system on will be available either flat or with the Schizofrantic binding. So you can get a HellBent, obSETHed, Kung Fujas or Extreme and put any binder you want on it, or you can get the ski and system which come with inserts. The inserts will be exclusive to K2 and have twice the retension of normal binding screws. I see if ol' Schmuck can get a little NSTV coverage to show you all how it works.

kinda offtopic, but is there a ski next year thats like this years KF? i really like this years but it would be dope to have this binding set up so i could switch em up. i know next years KF is rockered and im not too sure i want that for east coast shredding.

also how much more expensive is it gonna be for the add on schizofrantic system?

ive never aactually seen a pic of them, just the rocker profile. actually i did see a small pic but dont remember whatit looks like.

i probs wont get the same skis as you but i want something in the 95mm waist area that buttery as fuck like them.
