MRM is having a Big Air comp on Feb 7th at 7pm. They havent released registration times and everything yet just figured I would give everyone a heads up.

I cant believe, out of everything good thing thats happening at perfects right now in terms of our park and jumps. Thats the selling point you used to try and get people to come.

But I guess top three is more up for grabs now ahaha

Wow, you do know that both those forecasts are the same right. Maybe when you posted it said that MRM wasnt going to get rain and PNS was. But guess what, now they both say the same thing, that we wont be getting rain.

So maybe before you go posting in our thread about weather conditions, you should get you facts straight. Oh, and please use something more reliable than accuweather. Especially if you are trying to get people to come to your big air by the only fact that your weather is going to be better.

first off he isn't trying to get anyone to come to "his big air" because he reps snowtrails super hard... he was just giving out info for people still trying to decide which place to go to and weather was probably just one of the factors he was deciding between... calm down man im sure he didnt mean to offend "your thread"

I'm sorry that did come off a little strong. In all reality I wish the event were on different days and it was clear skies for both. At the same time I also dont want to tell people which event they should go to. Hopefully both go well. I apologize if I came off harsh. Which re-reading it i did.

It was so hard to get enough speed last night.  It was doable but you had to hike up into the trees just to get speed to hit the landing good.  Hope they fix it because temps will be higher which means less speed.

Its definitely going to be legit. Come one , come all. Historically MRM has not had the best comps; however, I believe in change and that i has finally come to MRM. The right people are in the right places - make sure youre out there this weekend.

it is such a fun jump. speed is tight from the double chair, but if you take it from the the top by the DFD and down box, theres tons, and thats where the start is for tonight. definitely one of the smoothest hits ive been on in a WHILE.

Official Results from the Foggiest, Warmest Big Air

1. Justin "i'm the oldest and still won'' Terman- Rodeo 5 double true nose

2. Mitch Deezy- switch 720 octo

3. Danny " ...the other twin" Messmer- 900 tail

-someone need to vouch since we couldnt see what others were throwin.

overall the events atmosphere was super fun, it seemed like (at least to me) that everyone was out their just to throwdown and have a good time. I mean what else can you ask for when youre competing in a big air that involved a sketchy in-run, 45 degree weather, and a random fog storm?

I also wanna give mad props to josh, brian, eric, and the rest of MRM park crew for keeping this event running even tho the conditions weren't pristine. My only complaint is that the age groups should have been under 18 and 18+. but im just selfish and wanted to win the 18u.

o and rudolphs crazy ass was throwin switch 5 with fuckin obsetheds! which was pretty ignant (There im bringin it the east rudy).

free entry, sick jump, and great vibe made it a super fun night. the park has really turned around this year and i think tonight proved that mad river is legit and is finally reppin the best park in ohio---might be a bold claim but anyone who rides there for a day will definitely understand!

I'm not hating on anyone from perfect nor trying to start anything, were all just a bunch of midwest skiers.My question to you is why does it seem this entire year, especially as of late, that everyone at perfect wants to think that theyre better than MRM and Snowtrails. Sure you have better skiers, its obvious. MRM especially only has a handful of skiers and trails a lil bit more. But you guys need to chill with trying to outdo us here in ohio and shitting on our resorts.

Seriously im not wanting to hate on you guys down there because i know you have talent (Laker, Fahey etc.)but after posting this i dont want to see any PMS from PNS.

How did you get hate out of that post. He only stated what went down at our resort, at the same type of comp, that was on the same night. I think it is you that needs to chill out.

Scharff never said that the tricks tom and busken did were better than what was thrown at your comp.
It was YOU that assumed the tricks thrown at our event were better.

Personally I love good looking stunts. And if Mitch threw the same thing at MRM that he did at snowtrails im sure it was sooooo sick. And im sure a dub nose rodeo from terman wasnt to shabby either.

Nobody was attacking anybody here.

I can see how it could be taken that way, but its whatever. It sucks that your comp was the same day as ours, I would have loved to bring the crew up there and had a good time and I would have loved to seen all of you guys be able to make it down here for ours. No need to get pissy over it.

This sounds like it could be a great episode on the maury show!!!

Possibly tied in with one of the fear shows where a lady runs off stage because a giant mustard bottle appears....

On another note, definitely looking forward to hitting up PNS in the near future.

MRMs big air was sick - a lot of fun and definitely better than anything theyve had in the past.

Props to both resorts!

it really sucks that both resorts had the same bigair date. i wanted to go to PNS soooooooooo bad but with weather and conditions it was iffy MRM is closer so i chose there! PNS always puts on a good show with the amount of talent at the resort! MRM has god snowboard talent! plan on coming back down to PFC by far the best hands down...

i talked to one of the guys who was at pns the night of the big air and it sounded sick. mad props to everyone at pns for puttin on, what it sound like, a good show. it was disspointing that the comps were on the same night but its all good there's always next year
