when is the best time to do it? how are the conditions? what to bring? and anyone interested in going?

i did it last april, sick corn snow conditions. 7.5 mile, 3300 foot ascent  to the summit. (first 2.5 miles is flat)

i would agree, they probably are high lots of new snowfall on top of some crust, if youre going to go into the bc, find a glade right now.

Avalanches in the east?  JK.  Sounds like it would be a lot of fun in late march and april.

My boss has done it, says it was a nice long cruise. Hes got this book that  has aerial images of all the mountains in the winter and a basic guide on where to go to ski them.  I'll call him and ask the name of the book.

The Adirondack Slide Guide by Drew Haas, i have it and plan on skiing some slide this winter/spring once i get proper avalanche knowledge and gear.
