I just got it yesterday, and I played it a lot today.  Probably the greatest skating game I have ever played.  Any advice, spots, or just cool things about it that you know, just post it here.

i found an epic spot. go to the library and then go to the building with the fountain and globe thingy that you jumped over in a mission. in that building there are 3 handrails in a row and there are 2 double kinks and one triple kink. call mike to uncap the rails. its so amazing hahaa

double flip? thats insane. for me, it seems like there is a set rotation limit on each jump that only lets you spin a minimum amount

  That's where I got a dub.  If you jump over the rainbow rail that runs tranny to tranny over the first stepover/table in the megacompound fun track you can make it happen.  If your speed is right and you just barely clear the rail,  the same Fast flip/spin thing happens as in the first game. 

  Who ever posted the tips for beating the Koston/Carrol s.k.a.t.e. challenge.....thank you.  I still can't beat BLAOW....what a shitty mission.  I really had a tough time with backboard handplant too.

  Overall, I'm really loving this game.  I've got something like 535/1000 achievement points without any on-line play.  Stoked.  I just broke a million dollars, and there's no achievement, bummed.  This game is everybit as addictive as the first, and brings a couple of fun new elements to the table.  Hippie jumps and fast plants are amazing.

  Tip:  Hurl yourself off of the Murderhorn spawn point, ditch your board and rack up bone breaks.  It unlocks the Lindley tower spawn point, where you can reeeeaaallly rack up the injuries.  Good times and a 20 point achievement.

  How many own the spots are there?

22 own the spots. and the best way to rack up pts at murderhorn is to do a body tweak, then go into the cannonball tweak and land on your feet, but leaning forward a bit. but make sure your feet hit first. it will break the groin, resulting in a ton of points

hahaha, yea, definitely.  I broke my groin by trying to footplant the 150ft. drop.  Good times.  I easily spent an hour today hurling myself off of drops.  Best score: 60 some thousand.

  I'm pretty sure the dam is drained just prior to the last Thrasher challenge.  To get the cover you have to drop in from the top.  Concentrate on the "coverage" challenges as opposed to street, tranny, race, etc.

off to the right of the hoop a little ways there is a slanted table, i put the qrtr on that, put them under the backboard, and stalled the qrtr and it counted it, do a couple youtube searches for it there are vids for it

  I put a quarter pipe on either side of the backboard.  After I smacked the backboard ten times, I pulled the quarter pipes slightly away from the backboard (so that the backboard was slightly behind the quarter pipes) and it worked out.  It took me probably 50 times......terrrrrible challenge.

i got this one first try. claim



i cant get the dyrdek or skate pro challenge

otherwise i beat it anyone post up any secret spots in here. Theres one called stink pit and you cut off left on the mountain while your going down and walk up these stairs and go through this tunnel and your there. its not that cool but thats all i got.


And iv gotten like 3 doubles all off the jump in the funtrack after the rail, after the one over the pool. and after the tiny step up one, its like through that alleyway thing and the jump at the end of that. i did a double back and like a kangaroo flip without the spin. and i spun but didnt land just a double cork

ANOTHER PLACE TO DO DOUBLE FLIPS - the dam. as you get to it you see the little lips about 20ft from the actual drop. take 3-4 strong pushes, flip, clear the 20ft barely, and then you start flipping again as you drop the damn. getting 2 flips around is easy, and sometimes you can almost get 3. however, without the landing cheat of skate 1 even if i land perfectly on my feet, i still couldn't land it. ugggggggh

There's a glitch for the s.k.a.t.e. pro challenge against Koston and Carrol.  If you are reeeeaaallly struggling, here's a lil trick.

Short answer: yes.

long answer: not as easily. Spinning and flipping have slowed way down, and landing is a ton harder. anything above a misty 5 is about a 1/4 chance in landing or less.

It's a shit ton more baller though.
