Well i obviously learned the hard way. im not really sure why i ever left my skis there. I just got a pair of Griffons to throw on my chronics. So i dropped them off last night and calledd them this morning to tell them to mount them -2cm from CENTER. i forgot to mark and give directions last night. i talked to scotty and he said thats fine, he'll do them. so my dad picks them up for me and i get home to see that they were mounted -2 from reccomended. its sooooo fucked for chronics. so i would not reccomend going to get your shit mounted there. my buddy got his there and they drilled extra holes in his skis from using the wrong jig. they didnt fill the holes so moisture got in and he eventually ripped them out. they remounted them and they screwed through and made some nice base bumps. they got him new sticks though. what do you think i should do about this bullshit. i specifically said on the phone -2 from center. i have a feeling hes gonig to argue me about this.

Recommended might be core center on the Chronics, I don't know exactly. You have to tell them true center or running length center. Center doesn't necessarily mean the running length center. In fact, it's usually different unless they're symmetrical skis. Your fault dude.

agreed, usually 'center' means, recommended center, not true center..
Sucks dude, I'm sure they can re mount free of charge, sucks you'll have one set of holes in your skis, but shouldn't affect it at all.

unless you physically showed them where to mount the skis, it's pretty much your fault.

if you want a free remount that is very bad idea. take them back...say they must have misunderstood you and you would like a remount. that happneded to me this year and they remounted them on the spot. although it wasnt my fault at all cause i drew them a line the first time but whtatever they were pretty cool about it and hooked me up so. cant complain.
