How are the invaders

I need a new pair of skis and i am thinking about getting line invaders. i know they handle the butters and handrails and jib stuff, but what about jumps. i heard they are ok on jumps, but i want some more opinions.

I have Invaders and I couldn't really be happier with them. They are sturdy enough on the jumps I hit, sturdy enough for my skill level, and they can really take a beating. On rails they are amazing, butter zones are sick. Its all about what you do.

Just for reference, I am 6'0 and weigh 147. I hit mainly about 35' jumps. Highest rotation is a 900.

they are really awesome the are super smoooth on rails and jumps and you can carve on them to but the bad thing is is that every one has them

they have mad pop!
and they are good on all the jumps i have hit with them, the biggest one i have hit on them is 55 feet

great skiis i find that i tend to wash out more often just cuz i used to have stiffer skiis and the sidewalls get chipped to shit real fast but overall i would give em a 9/10

they were great fun in the park and park related activities. As for taking them out of the park i thought they were crap.

I met them a few times. They can such duechebags when theyre drunk. But sober theyre actually really smart and funny. My friend went out with the left one for like 2 weeks, but she said it just didnt really work out.

the fuckin suck on jumps. like god damn.

once they get broken in they get too soft i found at least to really stomp tricks off decent jumps. unless you land perfect you either nose or tail manual pretty bad.

i loved mine for rails but they performed pretty bad in the jump category for me...

after how much use?

im also intrested in the actual weight difference of the invader and the anthem

i heard they are crazy good for jibbin but kind of soft on jumps

if i get either of these i will probly buy the anthem because theres more ski to be stomping a jump onto? im pretty sure that makes sense...

I really enjoy mine. I have the 178's and I am about 6'1" and 175 lbs. They are super light, poppy, buttery, and quick for rails. On jumps I am sure there are better skis out there, but I have had no problems with mine. I haven't really had trouble with their softness other than infrequent backseat landings resulting in small manuals. I don't think, to my memory, they have caused me to crash though. As far as someone holding an edge like someone above said, I have to disagree. It seemed like the edges were dull to begin with, and they only get worse (like any park ski) after hitting rails. So, unless the snow is soft, carving a groomer is not going to be happening super well. Hope that helps.
