The mittens are great, they dont seem like they would be warm but they are. I was out in below zero weather last weekend and my hands never got cold. The palm is all leather, I have the black and white ones, since the palm is white they get a little dirty but who the fuck really cares. The cuff of the mitten comes up to about two inches past your wrist which makes it great to slip under your coat. Over all (and not because I like empire and what they do) they are one of the best mittens I ever have bought or have worn. Def worth the money! I know for a long time they were on back order, I would send them an email to see if they still are.
