Hey all, just wanted to show everyone what's been going down at Togg so far this year. The main park is in great shape and is still growing. The progression park is being completely rebuilt this week after a lack luster hostile takeover by the mountain crew (don't ask). Park passes have also been implemented for the main park. But I'll stop talking now and let the pictures tell the story...
A look down from the top of the In-Saanen Terrain Park (in case you're wondering, a Saanen is a type of goat, going along with the goat theme at Toggenburg, which is also another type of goat).
D-F-D Box and Pipe jam on the first deck
The second deck has an option of flat box or pyramid bonk
Next there is an option of tire bonk or a fun little hip/poppy table combo
The final deck of the top section has a picnic table jib, small jump, and what will soon be a stall on the skier's left.
Next comes the beginning of the 5 jump line with some options on either side. The jump line starts with a modest 10 footer accomplanied by a flat bar and a nice long urban down bar.
The second jump is about 20 feet with a super fun, slightly up pipe on the right and an entertaining van jib on the left.
The next jump in the line is about 20 feet and will soon have other jump and/or rail options on either side.
Now we come to the finale. The second to last deck shown below is currently at about 30', but it will soon (tonight or tomorrow night) be made into a dual takeoff with roughly 35' and 30' options.
And now for my favorite feature, the big air jump from this past weekend. The left side is a smooth but lofty 35 footer and the right side is a super smooth 50 footer.
So there you have it, an abundance of features and still growing. If you haven't checked it out, I recommend you do so. For all your college students its only $10 for a pass all day, every day. Huge shout out to the park crew for keeping everything fresh and much thanks to Dylan Tucker (http://www.tuckeredoutfilms.com) for all the pictures. Hope to see you soon! Peace...
