Bindings Are super hard to open

So I have rossi scratch 140ti bindings from 06/07 and I haven't gone skiing in nearly 2 seasons due to multiple ACL tears and surgeries. So anyway, I went to check up on all my gear and When i popped into my bindings, I couldn't them off. I had to use all of my 225 pounds to get them open and just forget about using my poles to get them open (which I usually do) because it was way to hard. There is no way that this is normal. They're set to 11 din. So what could be my problem? Do they need like grease or something?

I find they tend to be a bit stiff when new, and since you have barely been in 2 seasons then they are pretty new still, I'm guessing the 11 DIN setting probably makes them even harder to get out off. they'll probably break in after a few times out. I also then it helps to lift up with your leg while pushing down with your poles

Yeah, always loosen the spring when not using for a while.

It shouldn't really fuck things up though. Just sounds like you need to break them in a lil bit.
