during the prime of my gaping I purchased a pair of racing boots to do park in because the shop guy said they were good, now of course I know I should have bought full tilts!
ahh I hate myself for doing a full tilt joke but when I wrote about what I did, I couldnt help it
i snowbladed for a while then got back on to skis and thought i was all badass because i could 180
back when i used to be gape.......i would ski with no poles and ski down with my hands in my pockets of my jacket.
i guess pep is a gaper.
?
haha me to! and i thought i was amazing when i skied down a double black diamond at blue mountain ontario....
I would throw spread eagles like nobody's business.
BTW for those of you who said "I used to think Johnney Moseley was the best skier ever"...
that doesn't make you a gaper.
He single handedly linked mogul skiing to what is now known as freeskiing and had more of an influence on modern skiing than that ass Tanner Hall ever will. The 360 mute he threw in the 98 Olympics is still my favorite trick of all time.
i though i was soooooo cool...and i was, in the mid-90s. i still made fun of those kids with the wacky hats tho.
also back when i used to gape, i would go into the park (they were nothing back then) and hit the side of jumps on my Atomic straights, because i did not believe the hype of shaped skis.
back when i used to gape...
i used to think the park was dumb 0_0
