Is Jiberish worth it?

So I've been hearing a lot of good things about Jiberish lately and was thinking of picking up the cross dot hoodie in green.  Then I looked at the price tag...$110 plus shipping for a hoodie?!  Please tell me that this is more than your average hoodie, or that it comes with a 50 in the pocket, because that's a pretty outrageous price just for a sweatshirt.

i dont think so because i don't like to look like tom and all his friends who ski at the same mountain i do. i like to have my own style and im pretty sure nobody rides with the sweatshirt i do which is warm as hell and only 12.50 and is huge. just peep the profile pic and see what you think. its possible to get sick ass sweatshirts for cheap.

I have their shit for casual wear and not to ski in. I like their style a lot and love my hoody. Its all up to you. If i were you, i'd ask for them as a present or something

I think so dude. I'm rockin my track jacket right now, soooo comfy and decently warm. Good layer for skiing, too, I haven't been able to get it very wet at all even when I spilled my cup of water all over it.

I'd save it for a special "for me" occasion or something where you feel you want to buy yourself something nice.

I love jiberish but it is very overpriced. I own the broken stripes and I owned the new level 1 hoodie for this year until it was stolen, but I did have a problem with my level 1 hoodie I was sitting in a swing with my hands in the pockets and I was pushed out and I didnt take my hands out and the bottoms of both pockets ripped it was a really nice hoodie and I was able to get it stitched back up but I feel it was poorly made.

all these hoodies are under $55

Trust me, they are not worth it. $110 is ridunkulous for a hoodie, only reason kids buy em is because tom wallisch rocks em.  They are not even that nice.  Unless you can find a jiberish hoodie from a year a two ago thats cheap I would not suggest buying one.  Heres some legit shit I found on tthat website in two seconds and these usually come in larger sizes if you are into that.

Jiberish's stuff is absolute fire. Without a doubt some of the dopest hoodies ever. AMAZING fabric, AMAZING cut, dope as hell designs.

Absolutely worth it, you wont regret buying one after you have it.

word. i don't even wear baggy clothes and i know you shouldn't be able to put your hands in your jeans without lifting up your hoody. unless you're a girl, then it's okay to have a short hoody.

jiberish is definately worth it.

i have to say 110 is a LITTLE pricey, but once you buy it and wear it for a week you'll forget how much you spent on it and you'll feel like fresh cut produce.

That hoody you want was on D-Structure for MUCH cheaper a week or so ago as well as on New Years.  I would bet money that if you call the guy there and say you missed out on the sale he would hook you up.

If I didn't have the money I would definitely say it is a rip off.  I don't understand why everyone says they are so high quality because they are just like any other hoody (except thinner...).  You pay for the artist who make a unique design though as well as a pretty awesome fit.

That being said I have a Jiberish shirt, hood, and crew neck since I am able and willing to pay for a unique product from a ski company.  I love all of them, but don't be the kid who spends everything he has on a piece of clothing- $110 is ridiculous.  I draw the line at $80 most of the time.  The hoody has to blow my mind for $110.

i got the royalty fitted white/purple and wasnt stoked on the fit at all....emailed jiberish got a personal phoen call from pete drago saying if iw as not satisfied...even after using it a few times he would refund it for full price...super legit

haha, I knew it would be too hard to convince a ski site that a ski company isn't good.

But seriously compared to other clothing companies, jiberish definitly isn't worth it.  The designs really arent' that cool and for the most part copies of other companies and now out of style.  The ones where the body is different from the sleeves look whack.  The grey crewnecks look like garbage - but oh I forgot Wallisch wears them in realtime. The only one I really like from the new line-up is the cross dot one but thats like $110 which is ridiculous.  And the broken stripes and Treez and Zeebz from last year are pretty cool too but pricey.

I actually have the rollers T from last year cause I thought it was a cool design but for $30 or whatever it was it really wasn't worth it.  The screen print got all bent outa whack from sitting down in class.

And it doesn't matter how much money you have, its the fact that you shouldn't pay $110 for a $70 hoodie.

what companies do they copy off of? enlighten, as I can't seem to think of any, and I consider myself rather well versed on current and past lines from a broad spectrum of designers and brands.

Their designs take cues from Artful Dodger and Crooks and Castles, but they are definitely not copies.

what would you say is a current company's lineup that isn't "out of style" as you say.
