not to hate on snowboarders, because what they do really is impressive, but im really tired of hearing about how amazing it is.
if you watched all of the snowboard pipe all they could talk about was that damn switch method.
what about peter olenick's double flat spin?
or halls shifty 5's?

those to me are all so much more tech looking but yet dont get the attention because they're done on two boards instead of one.

why would they talk about the tech stuff done in the skiing events when its a snowboarding event?

because they related shauns 1260 to things in the past.
like tony hawk's 900 and pastrana's double flip.
this is just my opinion, but i shouldnt things like olsen's flip be in there too?

well they don't relate olsson flips to snowboard trick so i don't see why they should have to relate snowboard tricks to olsson flips...

i definitely agree.
i truly know very little about snowboarding, but Pearce's run just looked so so much better.
true, Shaun knows how to ride, but he got that gold purely by having the last name of White.
being the first winter X Games athlete to win two golds would be sick dont get me wrong, but i think Shaun even knows who really deserves that medal...

same thing in the olympics i though kass is run was way better.

but i am actually sick of pipe comp format the finals should be best 2 of 3 not best run. every one does the same run over and over again. its annoying back in the day u used to get points deducted for doing the same run.  it just seems to me that it take something away from it jmo.
