So how many brakes do you go through?

i just got a pair of marker m11s (yes, bad choice to begin with) at the end of last season.
i rode them 6 times last season and broke a brake in that time.
this season rolls around and i broke one earlier in the season, and today, i broke two at once.
wtf is going on with this?
i am also having release problems with them.
i dont know much about bindings like forward pressure and stuff.
my dins are at 7.5, im 150lbs, 5'8'' and i pretty much only ride park.
so i guess now i'm looking for new bindings for my 07-08 chronics.
any words of advice?
i sorta want pivots, but ultimately, i was a stronger binding.

I go through 3 to 4 a season, sometimes they bend, shatter or 1 piece of it breaks and makes it totally unusable

i had the same exact problem with my m11's. i think i went threw like 5 or 6 brakes since i got them about a year ago, i think that they are just a poor, cheaplly made binding. i finally decided that i would better off spending money on new bindings, and not on m11 brakes. i got the jester and i haven't had a problem, the shop i bought them from said they would be very suprised if the brake broke. i would definantly recommend the jester. good luck

I went through about 10 brakes on my Salomon S810s in 2 seasons, I have a broken one and a semi broken (part screwed on to the heelpiece is cracked, but they still work) on my almost new S912s right now, and and of the brakes on my Rossi Axial 120s is cracked as well. I wish bindings didn't suck in every way.

you could also try the marker griffin, the down grade from the jester. or any of the sth's would work really well also

I have free 12's and busted a brake on like the third day on them on a not too bad switch landing, but since then I've had a ton of way worse landings and they're still holding on.
All times are Eastern (-5)
